Windows 2008 R2 SSL Error

Hello,

I am installing SABnzbd (SABnzbd-0.6.14-win32-setup.exe) on a Windows 2008 R2 server (64-bit).

It seems to run OK, however when I configure Astraweb, using SSL on port 443, it does not work. When I click on test server, I get an "Unexpected EOF" error.

Do I need to do anything besides run SABnzbd-0.6.14-win32-setup.exe? (i.e. install SSL libraries...)

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

John

You should not have to install anything else.
We very rarely test with Server 2008R2, but last time it worked.
Having said that we've seen trouble with the SSL libraries and 2008R2 in the past.
When it occurs , the only solution is to disable SSL.
With 0.7.0 we'll move to more recent libraries.

Thanks for the quick reply.

It looks like moving from eu-ssl.astraweb.com to ssl.astraweb.com fixes the problem.

Could it be something the server is replying with? (i.e. language related)

Very unlikely, since I use the eu server without any problem.
I'll add it to my checklist.
