HELP! I cannot open the SABnzbd app. Nothing happens. Cannot delete or force

I'm running on Leopard, an ibook G4, and the application simply will not open. Nothing happens when I double click it, or secondary click and then choose open. Then when I try to trash the app so I can reinstall, it says it is in use. But it doesn't show in the apps when I try to force quit.
