Hi..

Downloading was fine, but SAB tried to unpack it, but cancled coz the file/path was too long. Well, where are my 12GB gone now?

Incomplete folder? At least that's where mine stay on a failure.

Nope, it's empty...

I just checked my whole harddisks on my server and all downloaded parts are gone. Without depacking, deleted everything!!! What kind of code is this? If I would code my programs something like this, my customers will kick me to the moon. When I'm depacking archives, I have to check, if the depacking-method worked! Not just a
exec("unrar x blabla.rar")
unlink(*.*)

Anyway, filenames/pathnames are probably too long but I thought this might be no problem for such a software.

Well, I'm really really pi**ed... Till there's no solution for it, I can't use that nice tool anymore! I have to assume that SAB will delete also other files...

I'm having the same problem on my QNAP. I have the same version installed on my Windows Laptop and it's fine.
This can't be a bug, surely it's a config issue that i'm missing??

Anybody have any idea's?

Which SABnzbd version are you guys using?

Where does the download report say the files are stored?

The weird thing is i cannot see the file via a mapped drive however, if i use WINSCP to navigate to /share/MD0_DATA/Multimedia/Download/sabnzbd/complete i can see my downloads.

You'll have to find out which internal path corresponds with the share
and then use that as a destination path in SABnzbd.
You may also need to set access rights in Config->General (click Help on that page).

I think the problem was the access rights. I blanked out the value and all seems to be well.

I'm also using 0.7.16 on Windows 2008. My folders are in

Basefolder: C:\Users\Administrator\Documents

Finished Downloads: E:\PublicDrive\Usebin\Downloads\wizard

Temp-Folder: incomplete

Might this help to find the bug?

Hmm... Sleeping? Vacation? Not interessted in this project anymore? I asked Oct 11th for support and Nov 5th I asked again... Seems I would not get any help, so what program/software else can you recommend?
