I receive this error all the time, "Cannot create directory" Can anyone provide troubleshooting advice? External USB Drive Model: Seagate 2TB Go Flex Desk

Is it actually mounted on F:?
Has it been formatted?
Can you create the folder from Windows Explorer?

Oh, actually I already stores my files there. That's why I don't understand why I keep getting these errors.

My temporary download folder is set as F:\Incomplete

I often hear the sound of what I believe is the hard drive being mounted. I was thinking that might have something to do with it.

Some drives start up too slow from standby and it seems that Windows doesn't handle this properly.
