Cannot connect remotely
Posted: February 9th, 2012, 12:22 am
Version: 0..615
OS: Windows 7
Install-type: Windows Installer
Firewall Software: Kaspersky
Are you using IPV6? no
Is the issue reproducible? yes
I was trying to connect to sabnzbd on my HTPC via Qouch on my iPhone but I was getting an "unknown error". I then attempted to connect remotely via my laptop without any luck as well. I tried connecting by putting my HTPC's IP in my browser followed by port 8080 (which I have left as default) eg: http://my.ip:8080 (and yes, I used my external IP not my router's). I thought "ok maybe I'm forwarding my ports on my router incorrectly so I tried connecting to both couch potato and sick beard through my laptop and through qouch and was able to without a hitch
I've tried disabling my firewall and trying it again but I was still unable....any ideas?
