For incomplete you don't want Drive Extender to interfere.
Using UNC paths for "complete" will certainly obey all sharing rules.
Using the direct path may work, but I haven't looked at side-effects.
It seems to me that UNC is safer.
You may be right, but I never looked at this in detail.

D: is the data partition of the first physical drive.
It contains the symlinks (junction points) to all real files and can also store part of the real files.
Should SABnzbd use a considerable amount of space here, the Drive Extender
will automatically start moving files to the other physical drives.
I have used this setup for about a year without any ill effects.
I had one 750G C:/D: drive and two 2T drives.
