SABnzbd Forums

I'm running the latest version of sabnzbd and sickbeard.

I've got a post-processing script (remax.bat) that I've added to the scripts directory in the config (I defined scripts) and added the file to the directory.
I've looked through the sabnzbd.log file and it appears that the script is being called after processing but the script isn't doing what it is supposed to do. I've run the script from the command prompt with all of the information from the sabnzbd.log and it ran fine.

My guess is that sickbeard is starting its post processing process after sabnzbd is complete. But I don't have anything to verify this.

Can someone point me in a particular direction? Is there someplace else I should be adding the script to take care of this? sabtosickbeard.py?

Write container script that first calls yours and then SickBeard's.

I think sickbeards runs automatically doesn't it?

I'm not entirely sure how I would do that? Can you point me to a discussion that can provide guidance?

Thanks for the reply. Is sab calling the sabtosick.exe after completion on its own? I tried moving the download location to something else and having my script move the file to the folder that sb watches but I think I'm doing something wrong.

If I wasn't trying to run a script what happens between sab and sb upon completion?

I'm not very familiar with SickBeard, but I do know that you must run
the SB script to notify SB that the job is complete.

If I'm not calling the sb script today and the process work, is it safe to assume that sab isn't doing it and that something must be happening on the sb side?

Maybe SB just watches the "complete" folders?
You should ask on the SB forum...
