Preventsaving duplicate files

I have been trying to solve this problem for a while now but finally gave up and decided to ask the experts. To take it all from the beginning...

I have a RSS feed from nzbmatrix that gives me all HD tv-shows.
The feed is put into sabnzb with filter for the shows i actually want to download. So far so good.
the download is working superb. Now to the issue

The rss feed feeds me with duplicate episodes from different groups. because the NZB files is named differently SABNZB doesn't recognize them as duplicates and therefore downloads the same episode numerous times. the result gives me a folder with files named

*.1.mkv
*.2.mkv

and so on. all mkv containing the same episode. This tends to fill my disk rather quickly due to the size of every episode.
to correct this problem i would like some way for sabnzb to recognize, not the duplicate nzb file but the duplicate downloaded file. I am quite sure this could be done due to the fact I am using sabnzb naming rules for every show and sabnzb actually names the duplicate files with a number. I just don't know how. Please help

I am running this on a mac mini with OSX lion.

Otherwise, thx for a great software

forgot to say that I don't mind the downloading part, I have enough bandwidth for that. I'ts the saving part that is my problem.

If you want more sophistication in managing TV shows, you'll have to use a front-end like SickBeard.
