Sabnzbd web interface not accessible

Hi

I have a Synology NAS, DS1511+ with the latest firmware running: 3.2 (1955).

I'm not able to access the Sabnzbd+ web interface anymore - I think the only change I performed was upgrading my NAS. Since then the web gui is not accessible.

The Synology package panel shows me that Sabnzbd+ IS running - see picture below:
Image
The log is empty...

Here's what used to work before:
- The router had all the rules configured right (port forwarding, DDDNS, etc. etc.)
- I could access the web interface (previous port 9200)
- I could download - all my permissions to newsgroups were OK
- my NAS had all the necessary packages installed (python & compression utils)

When I realised that I couldn't download - here's what I tried:
- I tried to remove SABNZBD+ and reinstall it again.
- I tried upgrading the SABNZBD+ to the latest version 0.6.14
- I removed it and downgraded to 0.6.9-1

What the heck is going on?

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't have any help but I have almost the same problem using Win7 Ultimate 32. I've now installed the latest version, went through the startup screen and gave it my info and it says it is running and task manager confirms that, But I cannot get to the screen on my Firefox browser as I have always been able to. When I try and take the link SAB provided I get this message: localhost:9090 uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided.
The certificate is only valid for <a id="cert_domain_link" title="SABnzbd">SABnzbd</a>

(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)

Does anyone have an answer to this problem?

Totally a different thing, so not so handy to put it in this thread. Anyway: You have activated HTTPS in SABnzbd. On that Firefox page you quote, there must be an option like "Add Exception". Try that.

I apologize if I've muddied the waters. I do remember clicking that htpps box when I was setting it up but it hadn't occurred to me that was the problem. I'll try doing as you suggested and if I'm still having problems I'll start a new thread. Once again, sorry for the confusion.

I solved it: I had to reconfigure firewall rules within the Synology NAS OS. The firewall was preventing me access.
