Scripts Folder not Creating

I'm having an issue with creating a scripts folder for sabnzbd, everytime I type in a directory into the config>folders screen and hit save, it disappears. I've tried restarting sabnzbd but it doesn't seem to help.
I'm currently using sabnzbd, and SickBeard can NZBs to it, but i can't create a scripts folder for post-processing. Is it because I'm downloading? Or because of SickBeard? Or something else entirely like pebkac?

It disappears in which way? Is the folder ever created?

Nope, apologies for not explaining further. No folders are ever created. Everything that I changed in the config>folders screen is reverted back to out of the box configuration when the save button is clicked (eg. Post-Processing Folder, Permissions). The IRC suggested that it might be a permissions problem. But I've exhausted what I know about linux file structure trying to figure it out.
I did manage to solve the problem for the moment by editing the ini file that would normally contain these settings. By doing that it actually allowed me to save my completed files to my raid as I had wanted, as well as allowing me to point it to my scripts folder and change the permissions.

The scripts folder is not created by SABnzbd, you should point to an existing folder.
The idea is that you'll only set a folder if you actually have scripts somewhere.
I admit that it's not really consistent with the rest of the folders.
