Searched all over the boards and couldn't find a solution
I'm running sabnzbd on windows 7 and saving all my downloads to a synology ds211j.

Until last night everything was working fine but the I started to get this error
"PostProcessing was aborted (Cannot create final folder \\192.168.0.20\TV\30 Rock/Season 4\30 Rock S04E19 DVDRip XviD-REWARD)"
*notice the slash after 30 rock.

I talked to inpheaux on the live chat and said "CIFS blows and frequently won't let you do that".

So was wondering if there is a solution or a workaround.

sorry for my English its not my primary language

I have no trouble dumping my data on my NetGear server.
Not that this proves very much..
The forward slash isn't completely OK, but normally Windows doesn't care
and knows how to handle it. Possibly the NAS is bit confused by it.
On the other hand, it's an intermittent problem.
If it's really an issue then it should fail with ANY download that goes through Series Sort.

Does "Retry" from the History entry work?

OK, so that makes the problem persistent.
How does your Sort expression look? Does it have any forward slashes?

Sorting expression is default
%sn/Season %s/%sn - S%0sE%0e - %en.%ext
Just clicked on one preset
and the category
\\192.168.0.20\TV

As a work-around you can replace the forward slashes by backslashes in the Sort Expression.
So:

Code: Select all

%sn\Season %s\%sn - S%0sE%0e - %en.%ext
After that, retry the failed jobs (from History).

I'll see if I can fix this for a later release.

Edit
Solved
Had to remove the season folder

\\192.168.0.20\Complete\Show Name\Show Name - 1x05 - Episode Name.avi
