Hi All,

Im pretty new to SABnzb and I have a ubuntu box.

I followed the insctructions on http://sabnzbd.org/download/ for installing under ubuntu and it seemed to install, however it says I should edit /etc/default/sabnzbdplus but that file does not exist (see below)

-rw-r--r--. 1 root root 1768 Apr 8 2011 rsync
-rw-r--r--. 1 root root 321 Jan 12 2011 rsyslog
-rw-r--r--. 1 root root 258 Oct 24 05:22 samba
-rw-r--r--. 1 root root 146 Oct 24 14:29 saned
-rw-r--r--. 1 root root 132 Sep 26 2010 speech-dispatcher
-rw-r--r--. 1 root root 133 Apr 2 2011 ssh

if i nano /etc/default/sabnzbdplus it just brings up an empty editor.

Have I done something wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

UKD.

So, did you "sudo apt-get install sabnzbdplus" (which is needed), or did you download the tar-gzip-file?
