Hi!
I tried to search for an answer, but as I am not able to express my problem in technical terms, search results were inconclusive. I apologize if this is a double post.
I am having issues downloading a game. I have tried getting it from multiple newsgroup providers, and I tried to make sure that I was downloading different NZB files. SABnzbd gets the NZB file fine, and also shows it as downloading. However, the overall speed shown drops to 0-3KB/s, while the completion bar advances in 5MB/s steps. If I let the download "finish", I am left with a folder approximately 50MB in size. Needless to say, unpacking doesn't work.
I apologize again if my request for support is vague, but it's the best I can do at this stage. If additional information is required, do let me know.
Cheers.

Any idea about the age of the post?
Incomplete and/or disappearing posts are a fact of life on Usenet.

Re: NZB completing, but "empty"
I thought about retention as well, which is why i tried several different NZBs. The latest one I tried is 7 days old...
Re: NZB completing, but "empty"
If you have problems with specific NZBs then our advise is always
to try the same NZB with an alternative program. Grabit is usually a good choice for this.
If that program gives the same results, the problem clearly caused by the NZB itself or the post.
If not, than we're very interested in a follow-up.

Re: NZB completing, but "empty"
thank you for the help. Grabit was also unable to download the NZB. Now I have been able to find a working one.
