Ok, so if i use the {{whatever}} tags for any nzb i download into the watched folder it passes the category fine. If i make a "whatever" sub folder in the watched folder and download a nzb into that, it doesn't pass the category. Anyone have any ideas on what i may have hosed?

It should look like "watched_folder\mycategory", where "watched_folder" is the watched folder set in Config->Folders.
Did you mistakenly call it ""watched_folder\{{mycategory}}" ?

Does SABnzbd process the files at all?
Are the category folder names all lowercase (like the categories themselves)?

Sabnzbd will pull the nzb from the folders, just without the categories.

Works fine here.
Which OS and SABnzbd version do you use?

Totally weird.
I test with the same SABnzbd on the same Windows 7 - 64 bit.
Can you email me a copy of your sabnzbd.ini file (with passwords removed!) to bugs at sabnzbd.org ?
And please add a screenshot of your "watched folder" hierarchy.

Ok, i think i figured out what the problem was....I had the firefox add-on nzbstatus running, when i disabled it, the category folders in the watched folder started working! All is well, thanks again for your time in trying to get me setup right!
