I am an absoluuute nooooooooobie.... don't really know what I'm doing but following directions I have gotten everything to where the que is loaded but only actually advances when I click the refresh button. If I leave it alone it just sits there. I'm sorry for being so stupid but I have no idea where to go.. I am using giganews and nzbmatrix and sabnzbd and sabnzbd is not paused.... Any ideas??

Click on options.
The default refresh rate is 30 seconds.
Set it to 4 seconds if you want to see some progress.
SABnzbd isn't really designed to make you stare at the progress.
More like throw it an NZB and wait for the notification email that tells you things are ready.

Thanks for the info....that seems to have worked. I thought it was something to do with windows not liking the sabnzbd certifiacte or something. Thanks again for the help... like I said I don't really understand this whole thing....but I like IT!!!! *grin*

For the certificate warning, see this quote from our Wiki:
To make the communication between SABnzbd and your web browser private, you can enable HTTPS (secured HTTP). The purpose of a certificate is two-fold; one is to give you encrypted communication, the other is to authenticate the server. The certificate authority guarantees that you are actually talking to the website of your bank or similar service. Web browsers are very fussy about the authentication part, and by default will complain unless you buy your own certificate.

By default SABnzbd will create self signed certificates for you to use. These however will give browser warnings when you try to connect however it is usually easy to make an exception for these certificates.
