Sabnzbd and Xbmc Live Web Interface Issue

Hi All,

Just reg'd to troubleshoot an issue. Was using sab on my windows machine and want to use it on my xbmc live dharma setup now.

I've installed it via terminal and followed various tutorials, but when I go to my web viewer and enter the address it will not load the web interface. No errors, just a loading screen that never loads anything.

I've tried different ports and 0.0.0.0 and various other methods but cannot get it working. Got the feeling that I'm missing something obvious but never really used a Linux setup.

Any help appreciated.

Try the explicit IP address of your Linux box instead of 0.0.0.0.
Linux boxes don't always know their own host address.

BTW, you're not using 0.0.0.0 from the PC with the web browser, are you?

Thanks for the reply.

No, I was trying my Linux box IP.

I've set my host as my Linux IP address as well (again with numerous ports) but to no avail. When I think I've got it, it accepts the URL but then just stays on the xbmc online manual homepage. Strange

So this could be just a question of competing web servers?
What produces the "xmbc online manual homepage", Apache?
Does it gobble up all "competing" servers?

That may have been a bit mis-leading. If I run the web viewer with SAB set as the following:

xbmc
host: Linux IP
Port: 8085

Then in the web viewer enter http://192.168.0.10:8085/sabnzbd (tried with and without sab extension) the text box closes, the address bar begins to load but the URL in the address bar stays on the current site, then the page just hangs there (but is still functional).

Not sure on re Apache, at work so cannot check until tonight.
