unable to open SABnzbd remotely
Posted: September 24th, 2011, 8:54 am
Hi All,
I've read through some posts and the fAQ / manuals etc and still having no luck accessing SABnzbd remotely and hoping someone can assist.
Version: 0.6.9
OS: Windows 7
Install-type: Windows Installer
Skin (if applicable): Plush
Firewall Software: Windows Firewall
Are you using IPV6? No
Is the issue reproducible? Yes
I'm attempting to access SABnzbd remotely and i can't seem to make any connection - I've configured the host as 0.0.0.0 testing with various ports 8080, 8081 and 8085 with all the same result.
When i check these ports they all come back as OPEN
I've also tried an external port of 7777 to forward to internal 8080 without any luck.
I can open it from my host PC as well as other PCs within my LAN
I've added SABnzbd to the windows firewall for private and public access. (also testing with it disabled)
when i do a netstat -b i can see SABnzbd connection established on my current port of 8085
However, as soon as i use my external (ISP assigned) IP address with the current port of 8085 i get a "could not connect" error.
If i put in my ISP assigned IP address without the port it goes to my router admin page.
Am i missing something?
Any help would be greatly appeciated! thanks.
