Hi all,
Sometimes, when I download a new .nzb-file and startup SABnzbd+, it just won't download.
When I look in the error-logs, the following message comes up multiple times:
ERROR: Cannot create temp file for /Users/ProxxiM/Library/Application Support/SABnzbd/sabnzbd.ini.tmp
After a restart of the whole system things seem to work again.
A restart for only the program itself doesn't remedy the illness.
I've Googled the error-code a few times (of course without the mapname) but couldn't find any helpful pages.
Do you guys have any idea what's going wrong?
I'm running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.1 and SABnzbd+ version 0.6.9.

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

The error means that OSX doesn't allow SABnzbd to create a temporary file.
Which is very odd, because it's in your profile.
Are you using some kind of anti-virus program?
Are you accidentally running two SABnzbd instances? (check with Applications->Utilities->ActivityDisplay.

I am running Sophos Anti-Virus. That's installed for half a year so I wonder what's making the difference at once.
As far as I can see on this moment, I'm running only one instance. But, the problem doesn't occur right now.
Should I look for permissions in the SABnzbd-folder?

The permission should be OK, otherwise you'd have more problems.
On Windows there are relatively few problems with virus scanner, except when they prevent
folder names and deletions. I'm not familiar with OSX virus scanners.
This particular error can only occur when there's a reason to write a new sabnzbd.ini file out to disk,
so when you change some setting. And always once at program startup.

After a while the error came up again.
I opened Activity Display but there was only one instance of the application.
After I force quitted the application and started it up again it works like a charm.
Bit strange, but now I know how to fix it momentarily.
