Synology Install fine then broken?

I installed the app yesterday SABnzbd+ 0.5.4 from Mertys site. The software worked fine until I did a firmware update on my Synology DS211j (3.2-1922), now the helper file will not run to change pref's? I have installed and uninstalled several times?
I was wondering whether the firmware update was to blame, anyone else had problems. Brilliant app, by the way.

same issue for me, seems the helper app gets broken when we go to dsm 3.2-1922 which is the release firmware. mine broke on sab 0.6.8, so its not necessaryli an 0.5.4 issue.
syno 411j for me tho.

Sorry guys, we cannot solve the problem for you.
So unless Merty or a savvy user solves it, you're out of luck.

it seems to be a syno problem, at least theres a workaround on their forum :
