Duplicated my file

Im load up the nzb with associating it with sabnzbd and when doing so, I open my queue window and I can see that it adds the nzb twice to the list, causing it to download the release twice, and when I go to check in my program files the downloaded content, it would automatically tag the 2nd release ending with a .1

Here is an example

Demo.Documentary.Disc.DVD (that would be the original tag)

Demo.Documentary.Disc.DVD.1 (the ducplicate tag with the .1)

I have to manually remove each nzb from the queue everytime it loads. Any quick ideas I know it's probably something small and easy but I've looked and searched throughout the entire forums and couldn't find one thread related to this specific situation. I hope someone can help me on this thank you.

On Windows this can happen when you upload a NZB to SAB's webinterface, *and* you have a file association for .NZB pointing to SAB.

So:
Which OS are you using?
Do you manually upload to SAB's webinterface? If you don't do that, is there only one copy?

I am running Windows 7.

And I was using before GrabIt, but now when I click on the nzb instead of selecting "save as", I just select "open with" and SABnzbd is selected as the defaulted program.

So whats the solution?

You're sure you don't have some third-party browser add-on (like SABconnect++ or nzbdStatus)?
Or is your (temporary) save location the same as SABnzbd's watched folder?
If you cannot find the cause you can consider to use the duplicate detection in Config->Switches
(but you must setup a nzb backup folder too).

Got it work if I save the nzb and double click on it, but if I decide to open it without saving it still duplicates, any ideas?

There probably something wrong with your system's file associations.
Cannot fix that from here.
