Download won't start

I've added an NZB file and Sabnzbd is ready to start downloading, but it does nothing. There are no pauses and there is plenty of room on my hard drive. There are no warnings. I have tried restarting Sabnzbd, but it still won't do anything. Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong?

Did you define any Usenet servers, do they have connections (more than 0) are they enabled?
Are the NZb-s individually paused?

it seems my ISP's newsserver is down. Unfortunately, I got no warning on Sabnzbd. I found out by trying a newsreader on another machine.

As SABnzbd is meant to be used mostly unattended it's not eager to start spitting out warnings.
Given the time-outs and retries it also would take quite some time before it could give one.

I appreciate your help and understand your point, however, if it could have given a "no connection to server" warning, I would not have needed to post the problem on this forum.

You can also click on "Test Server" on http://localhost:8080/config/server/ to see whether as server is working; no need to post the problem on this forum ;)

PS: via http://localhost:8080/connections/ -> Latest Warnings -> Show Logging you can open the logging of SABnzbd: look for "timed out" like this one:

2011-09-05 17:23:58,172::INFO::[newswrapper:223] Failed to connect: (110, 'timed out') 1@www.google.com:119

After all this, I expect I'll know what to do if this ever happens again.
