Download speed: 575 KB/s???

Since a day ago I have had this problem. I am running SABNZB+ 0.6.5 on an iMAC with Lion OS. I have not changed anything. The queue has the nzbs loaded but now it says to download 3GB, 1 hour 30 minutes. Anu ideas??

First of all, upgrade to 0.6.8, because Lion is not supported by the older versions.
Further your description is so limited that I cannot say anything sensible about it.

I am trying to shutdown SABNZB+ but it will not let me. I cannot update to 0.6.8 until SAB closes. Any ideas?

Now I cannot even start SABNZB -1712 displayed???

Find SABnzbd in the task manager (Option-Command-Esc) and stop it from there.
(Otherwise just reboot)

Rebooted the MAC. All seems to be ok. I will update SABNZB+ before it happens again.
