Multiple Host Ip's

Post by eagle00789 »

In the general configuration, you can enter to wich ip sab should connect to. is it possible to have multiple ip's there, as i want to be able to control sab from inside AND outside my own LAN (password protected ofcourse)

The short answer is no.
Usually you solve this kind of problem by port-forwarding in your router.
This way the PC running SABnzbd doesn't need to to know the difference between inside and outside.
Do you have separate network ports for outside and inside use?

Repeat: SABnzbd cannot listen on multiple physical network ports.
(nor on multiple IP addresses on a single physical port).

Only if you use 0.0.0.0 has host address, it will listen on the
system's IP address AND localhost.
But it cannot listen to two outgoing IP addresses.
