I would like to see in a future version a way to setup a virusscanner without having to use an external script for it.

I think this is sorta the whole point of having external scripts. It should be rather trivial to write a script to pass all files through clamav or clamwin or whatever.

The possible combination of operating systems and virus scanners is staggering.
Also, there is zero standardisation in the AV world.
We could never support such a feature.
