Reconfigured routers - Now SABnzbd won't download

In an effort to get a media server running on my Mac, and because the AT&T-supplied residential gateway did not have the required features, I hooked a 2nd router up which now feeds my computer, xbox, etc. The previous, working setup was as follows:

DSL -> 2wire modem/router -> Computer

The current configuration, where everything works but SABnzbd, is as follows:

DSL -> 2wire modem/router ->Linksys WRT54G router (set as DMZ on the 2wire) with DHCP disabled -> Computer

I changed no settings in SABnzbd.

What do I need to look at in my router settings to fix this?

Thanks! -tim

That's probably where you went wrong.
Use the special host address 0.0.0.0 (or just fill in no host) and
let SABnzbd figure out what your system's IP address is.

I am going nuts here. I plugged my computer back into the 2wire residential gateway and it still doesn't work. It's set up exactly as it had been for months. When i start the server, for a moment it acts like it wants to do something by showing 1kB/s then back to 0. I've reset everything and still no luck. Power cycled the residential gateway, renewed the DHCP lease on the computer, restarted SABnzbd a bunch of times. Even deleted the queued files and added new ones.

What could I have messed up that I'm not thinking of? I tried putting in 0.0.0.0 and also leaving the host blank.

Edit: On second look, I may have maxed out my allowable download from my news server. Would that present these symptoms?

I was under the impression that you couldn't access SABnzbd web interface.
So you actually mean that it doesn't download from the Usenet server(s)?
Have you tried the test buttons in Config->Servers?
Do you see any warnings or errors?
What does the Status page show you?
Is the NZB not too old for your Usenet server?

That is correct; it just isn't downloading. I see them just sitting in the queue at 0 KB/s. One of them was half done. I'm not sure if I stopped it myself by quitting SABnzb or if it stopped on its own.

When I hit the Test button for the server I get: "The page at localhost:8080 says: 502 Byte limit exceeded!"

The status page shows a bunch of these: "Too many connections to server news.newshosting.com:443." I tried decreasing the number but to no avail.

The nzbs are not too old for the server.

Edit: On second look, I may have maxed out my allowable download transfer amount from my news server. Would that present these symptoms?

I'm not sure. Quota management on Usenet servers is not in the standard NNTP protocol.
That means that every provider makes up its own error messages.
"502 Byte limit exceeded!"" would qualify as such a message.

Check newshosting's website, most allow you to access your account data.

I see it now in he newshosting account: "Quota Remaining: -155476KB"

That's embarrassing. I'm a new customer to them so I didn't realize my mistake right away.
