Hi

new to all this as i just got a iMac and moving to this software too

1- is there some sort of search function as i am used to using newsleecher which has a search function

2 - also on a mac do i need to download anything for rar files or par so that Sabnzbd does auto extract and fix

3 - i am a member of nzbmatrix which i have put my details into sab and also got the API details. So is there an easy way of adding nzb and not downloading and double clicking or adding them to a folder

thanks

1. No, the idea is that you find NZBs on indexing sites and send them to SABnzbd.
2. unrar is included
3.
You can download to a "watched folder" (See SABnzbd, Config->Folders)
or tell OSX to "open" an NZB file with SABnzbd.
Or use bookmarks in nzbmatrix and let SABnzbd read out its special RSS feed for bookmarks.

thanks for the information

so if there is any files that need repairing it doesn't have any auto repair

so if i setup a rss feed in the program and then bookmark my download then it will start to download

as the computer is on all the time, was thinking about remote queue

thanks

1. What gave you that idea? SABnzbd will repair downloads as long as par2 files are available
2. Yes
3. You can either use SABnzbd's web interface from another computer or use a share as "watched folder" or both.
(For remote use, don't use localhost as SABnzbd's host-address, but 0.0.0.0)

BTW: there are several browser plugins that make sending NZB files to SABnzbd easier.
