NZB Getting Compressed to Backup Foler But Not Downloading

Hello,
I am using SABnzbd with Sickbeard and am having trouble downloading shows. SABnzbd seems to be downloading the NZB files fine, but then they just show up compressed in the backup folder and nothing downloads. I am using RedOrb news server. What am I doing wrong? All the folders seem to be set up properly.
Thanks

Try to enter the NZB manually, so that you may seen error messages.
You can re-enter the compressed NZBs directly in SABnzbd.
Try to check the content of the NZB, sometimes they turn out empty.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot.

What is the best way to add the files manually. I have tried moving them to the appropriate folder manually and using the "Add NZB" button. Still no results.

What is "still no results"?
What happens?

OK... When I manually drop the gz file in the nzb folder it gets moved to the backup folder. But then, the download never shows up in the queue, and the temp, incomplete and complete folders remain empty. I also get "WARNING: You have no credit on your Newzbin account". However, this should not be a factor as it should be downloading the file from RedOrb right? When I test the server, I get "Connection Successful!". The gz files I have are coming from NZBMatrix.
Does that explain it? Thanks again for your time.

It looks like you are using the URL entry box instead of the NZB file entry box.
Do you use the "Browse" button to find the NZB file?

I used the "Choose File" button. I also noticed that I am on port 8800, not 8080. Could this be a firewall/router issue?

What kind of files are you feeding SABnzbd?
Can you email one of these GZ files to bugs at sabnzbd.org ?
Did you fill in a newzbin account in Config->Indexers?
You shouldn't if you do not have a paid account with credit left.
(Although that shouldn't matter in this case).

Hey, I sent you the gz files if you haven't seen them yet.

Nothing wrong with the NZB files.
They enter the queue fine in my SABnzbd sessions.
BTW: do you have Duplicate detection enabled in Config->Switches?
If so, that will explain why you cannot re-enter an NZB.
Try to directly enter a brand new NZB.
Time for some debugging.
Go to SABnzbd's status page.
Set logging level to "Debug".
Enter one of the NZB files.
Go to status page.
Download log file.
Email to bugs at sabnzbd.org with a reference to the URL of this post.

Thanks, I'll try that when I get home. I am going to remove the program and start from scratch. I just installed it in Windows instead of my QNAP NAS and it worked fine. However I'd still prefer it to run on my NAS.

Just removed and reinstalled everything on the QNAP and it's working fine now. Not sure what was wrong, but I'm happy to say that it's fixed!
