Download speed limit not saving

I'm using sabnzbd 0.6.5 with the Plush interface. Every time I set a download speed limit and click save, the download limit will work. But when I close the page and recheck it, the limit is reset and my download speed is back to unlimited. The interface skin doesn't matter as I've also tried with smpl-black.

It seems it has something to do with me occasionally not being able to connect to sabnzbd's interface as every time I get this message: "Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data." and refresh, the limit is gone. Although it has also happened without the error.

Speed limits set on the queue page are not permanent, but only valid for the session.
Permanent speed limit can only be set in Config->General.
The specific behaviour you describe I don't recognize, the limit should be there as long
as SABnzbd runs.
Possibly the system is so overloaded that the web server doesn't get time enough.
Do you have a very high refresh rate (i.e. low in seconds)?

I had it on the default and then switched to 4sec and the same behavior happened. I just went ahead and set the speed limit in config>general and that seems to do the trick.

You did not mention the operating system and the web browser.
