Been a Sab user for years - always have d/l movies Divx and my streamers have always posed fine. Now all of a sudden my streamers give me error "unsupported file format".  Is there some new divx encoding folks have recently started using in movies category?  Maybe I need to filter on something older?

Install VLC, open the problematic media file with VLC:
1) try to play it, and
2) press CTRL + J (= Tools -> Codec Information): that will show the media codec details.

EDIT: and do this both media that can, and media that cannot be played by your playing device. That way you can see if there's a different codec in place ...
