All my downloads keep failing

This is getting a bit frustrating. I don't know what it is but I can't seem to have 1 succesful download

Version: 0.5.6
OS: Synology DSM 3.1
Install-type: python source
Skin: smpl
Firewall Software: disables
Are you using IPV6: no
Is the issue reproducible? it happens all the time

Not really sure what I can post to give some more info. This is the error i see 'No post-processing because of failed verification', it's an nzb of 35days. Size is supposed to be 4,71GB, but on my disk all the unpacked files together are only 15mb (wtf)

Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Sickbeard downloads the nzb's.

Also, I'm no linux wizard...

There are quite a few bad NZBs around.
Where did you get it, what is the retention time of your Usenet provider?

Did you try the same NZB with SABnzbd installed on a PC?

I have the same issue ever since I installed 0.6.5 and enabled caching to reduce disk usage. (Everything was perfect in 0.6.4 though I did not use the use caching to reduce disk usage option.)
I download the same NZBs using Nzbomatic plus and they do contain errors, but I can fix them with Quickpar manually.
Sabnzbd seems to get less parts than Nzbomatic (can't repair those using Quickpar) - hence the downloads fail.

Dunno if this is relevant.
Does Sabnzbd retry grabbing the articles reported missing?
Nzbomatic does not, but when I hit 'retry incomplete' in Nzbomatic once (maybe a few times) after the download has been completed, it does grab additional parts that were reported missing earlier.

Again, dunno if this is relevant, but sometimes I get problems with importing warnings - not with the ones that failed though.

The difference between 0.6.4 and 0.6.5 is minimal and have no relation with what you describe.
First go back to 0.6.4. Only if the problems go away, I'll look further.

I have no idea what NzbOmatic is, so I cannot comment on its quality.

SABnzbd will skip existing files in a retry, so it will not add individual articles to a file.
If you're Usenet provider is so fickle that you cannot trust to either have or not have an article,
then maybe SABnzbd is not the solution for you.
Since it's automation oriented, it assumes some basic reliability of the server.

I cannot tell if the warnings are relevant if you don't say what they warn about.

same problems here (sabnzbd 0.6.5 - osx - astraweb)

is this a provider issue?

i try unison and everything works without difficulty

It's not a provider issue if the same NZB file fails with SABnzbd
but succeeds with Unison.
Can you email an example of such a failing NZB to bugs at sabnzbd.org ?
(please include the URL of this thread).
