In short:
When running SABnzbd (installed from repos) on Mythbuntu box (10.10) to Astraweb servers, periodically I get "Possible Account Sharing" errors and downloads briefly pause. As detailed below, I believe there is something with the Mythbuntu/SABnzbd install that is causing the issue, I just need a little help pinning down the issue.

Prep steps:
Installed Mythbuntu (before 10.10 was released), upgraded through update manager to 10.10.
Installed SABnzbd via Configured SABnzbd for Astraweb SSL connection (20 connections as per my max)

Symptoms/Issues:
SABnzbd must be run after reboot of mythbuntu as normal user, otherwise it won't run (possible that I just didn't set it up quite right, will work on later)
BIG ISSUE: While SABnzbd runs fine, will download for a while, then I get 20 warnings "Possible account sharing" and downloads halt for about a min. I understand the pause, that is not the issue, but the errors happening in the first place is an issue.

Troubleshooting steps:
Changed password on Astraweb thinking my account was hacked. - No change
Changed password on Astraweb from Mythbuntu box trying to take possible infected windows lappy out of the equation - No change
Shut down Mythbuntu box and ran Grabit on windows lappy - NO ERRORS
Installed Windows binary of SABnzbd and configured just as Mythbuntu configured - STILL NO ERRORS

Astraweb shows "account sharing" if you are downloading simultaneously
from different IP addresses (or within a certain timeframe).
Does you're ISP frequently assign you a new address?

Set logging level to "Debug" and start downloading.
Stop as soon as the error occurs.
Then open the log file (from the Status page).
Look for the error message.
One or two lines above it is the literal message coming from astraweb.com
This might show what's really going on.

I ruled out someone else using or trying to use my account for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I have given nobody my account information. Second, I have changed my password in several scenarios that rule out a logger/trojan on windows to capture and send the new password to the other party. However, I still think it is possible, albeit slim.

Per your suggestion, I have changed logging to +debug and restarted the download. I am now waiting for the error to appear, then will see what it says. However, SAB on windows does not encounter this error, even though it is configured the same as the Mythbox copy. That is what is baffling me!

As far as I know, my IP is not updated very frequently, but I guess I could try to find a utility that will monitor this. Any suggestions there??

I think you should contact Astraweb.
It looks like they're a bit overaggressive in their checks.

After digging further, I found that Windows running any NNTP client downloader suffered the same issues. Here's the reasoning behind it all.

SABnzbd is functioning properly, and exactly as designed. Astraweb is not to blame, either. The culprit here is my ISP. AT&T throttles the NNTP connections, but cannot do so to SSL connections to the servers. What is happening is that with heavy SSL traffic, my connection gets reset (which is the cause of the timeout errors), and my modem leases a new IP.

Unfortunately, in my area (the boonies), there is no other option other than AT&T and slow WiFi connections such as Hughes, So I'll just have to deal with the errors or take the hit on throughput speeds.
