  • Are you using the latest stable version of SABnzbd? Downloads page.

    Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.

Set up help please

hi, ive set up sabnzb and also joined vip nzbmatrix. when i click download .nzb, windows pops up with do you want to save this file, or find a program online to open it. why wont it connect to sabnzb?

Assuming you're using Windows, you had to enable the option "Associate NZB with SABnzbd" at installation time.
Just install it again.
You can also pick SABnzbd from the list and tell Windows to do that action always.

An alternative is to use a browser like Firefox with the nzbdStatus add-on.

hi, thanks for reply.

yes using windows, i will reinstall sabnzb, didnt see that option but will look for it again.

sabnzb is not on list though, it just links a windows file extension page
