I've been having this problem forever with couchpotato and sickbeard or just one or the other. I've tried posting on both sites but havnt figured it out.  When I download both apps they get sent to winrar where I extract them. Next I open the correct .exe file and setup the config in both. Everything will be working fine until I close my browser or turn off the computer then I get a screen on my browser saying "unable to connect, FireFox can't establish connection to the server at local host." At first this only happened with couchpotato and never sickbeard, then vice versa, now both. So I have to always keep my browser open with the tabs saved and if I accidently close the browser I have to reconfigure  all the settings.o I've tried extracting to the desktop or C drive. I've tried installing and redowoading a bunch, I don't know what to do.

Are you running the apps under the same userid?  I have has an issue where I have then as services which run under a different user and so end up with different configs.
