0.6.1 - Sometimes NZB downloads don't start automatically
Posted: May 24th, 2011, 3:29 am
Version: 0.6.1 Final
OS: Win7 64bit
Install-type: Windows Installer
Skin (if applicable): Plush
Firewall Software: NOD32
Are you using IPV6? no
Is the issue reproducible? unsure
It's happened twice so far, and a restart has 'fixed' it both times. The most recent time was from first start up - the NZB was scanned and added successfully, but download failed to start. There were no warnings printed in the usual place. I think the previous time was with the same / similar circumstances. I don't think 0.6.0 had the same problem, but I'm sure 0.5.x didn't have this at all (my memory is a tad spotty though, so it might all be lies).
The only thing in the error logs that might point to the cause is this
2011-05-24 20:02:48,927::INFO::[downloader:607] Thread 1@ssl.astraweb.com:563: timed out
2011-05-24 20:02:48,927::INFO::[newswrapper:223] Failed to connect: (10038, 'Socket operation on non-socket') 1@ssl.astraweb.com:563
Which is repeated the number of connections specified in the config (in my case, that's 25).
