I was using 0.6.0 RC2, everytime i have installed a new beta its saved my settings, when i installed 0.6.1 it overwrote them and i had to reset everything again :(

Well ive sorted everything apart from one thing, before all my folders that downloads where in didnt have (1) at the end of there file names, i did select something to remove this and i cannot for the life of my remember what it was, anyone know?

its just annoying because i have to rename every folder to remove it.

Nothing has changed in the installation method between 0.6.0 and 0.6.1,
so I can only assume a one time accident.
Did you uninstall the previous version and let it uninstall data too?

As for your second issue, I don't know what problem you are describing here.
SABnzbd never adds (1) to names, unless they were already in the NZB name.
It may append .1 to names if a folder with the same name already existed.
I need some more info.

Hi!  I just installed sabnzbd for the first time and also got this error.  I found that this was because I was using the same folder for temporary and complete downloads.  Once I used two different folders this didn't happen.  Hope this helps :)

OK, yes this would explain things.
It's not exactly recommended use.
