Special char bug ?

Hi !

I installed three days ago SABnzbd on my Synology DS211j.
Today I had a strange bug when downloading these files : http://tinyurl.com/3t8e5qh
I think that the special character "ç" has made the bug, cause when the files were downloaded and unpacked, placed in the "complete" folder, there was no way to access to the folder. Folder seems not to exist.

I had to log with SSH and root access to enter the folder, change name of the files and folder, to make it accessible again.

Don't really know what happened, but isn't this "ç" a good way ?
Maybe could SABnzbd replace this special char by a simple "ç" or another coded "ç" ?
Thank you if you can try this link too.

Regards

I suspect that the Synology doesn't understand accented characters.
Is the "ç" in the basic job folder or in a subfolder?
In the latter it's completely under control of unrar and by the creator of the post.

The "ç" was just under the "complete/" folder.
So the exact path was : "Volume/DL/Newsgroups/SABnzbd/complete/" and finally the folder with the "ç". In it the final file has a "ç" too.
The download was good ended, only the access of the folder where the files were unrar causes problem. I think so that it could be manage by SABnzbd ;)

I never try to use it, but we got an option called : Post Treatment Script
I think you can manage something to escape all french characters like é,à,ê, etc..

With many of these embedded system we don't know what the OS supports.
unrar simply assumes that the system has UTF-8 based names and acts accordingly.
If your NAS has trouble with accented characters, don't use them in NZB names.
