Can you describe your problem in more detail?

"Purge Failed and Delete Files" option deletes the files completely but doesn't put it in the recycle bin.

Is there a reason for this? I've deleted a few things by mistake and wanted to recover them, but they don't exist anymore.

The recycle bin is not supported by most Windows programs, including SABnzbd.
Normally only deleting with Windows Explorer uses the recycle bin.

I use both mac and windows at home. The sabnzbd server is a windows machine so I guess that is why it won't send to the recycle bin.

I think if it was a mac server, it'd send to the recycle bin. Can anyone confirm this?

A program that does a plain delete through the OSX api will bypass the recycle bin.
A program needs to do something extra to use it.
So far we don't think it's worth the effort, since you first have to click
the delete icon and then need to confirm that you actually want to delete files.
