Version:      SABnzbd 0.5.6 Final
OS:            Ubuntu 10.10
Install-type: python source
Skin :          Plush
Firewall SW: None
IPV6? :        no
Is the issue reproducible? yes

If you download or give the Link direct to Sabnzbd, Sabnzbd become a 0 MB download.

Correct. As the that URL does not result in a .NZB; first a disclaimer page, than a web page where you have to click a few boxes, and only then a NZB.

So, that won't work in SAB; SAB needs a direct link to a .NZB.

EDIT: Here's how it works: *below* the nzbindex.nl result is a "Download" link. Right click on that link, copy the URL (ending in .nzb) and paste into SABnzbd. Bingo!

Example:
WebGUI URL: http://www.nzbindex.nl/search/?q=toverd ... m=1&more=0
NZB URL to copy into SAB: http://www.nzbindex.nl/download/3260713 ... n.par2.nzb

But you can also download the nzb file and put it than into Sab and you become a 0 MB download. I think this is about the name of the files.

The link is only to see which post i want to download. I have already downloaded it with newsleecher, but normaly i use Sab.

Well, when I manually download the .NZB, and put it into SAB, it's a 49,895 MB download ...

I've just tried again, but again the same error.
Also, other search engines from always the same. From the forum where I'm posting the forth, someone else has the same problem. But even with the posting anything else ever went far.

What's the size of your .NZB itself? Mine is 12 MB.

Mine, have also 12 Mb. Also if i make a nzb with 3 files or so from this post i also became in sab 0 MB. When i open the file in an editor i also see all files in it.

FWIW: nzbindex.nl says the post is password protected, and I can't find the post at all on binsearch.info ...

So ... is there a correlation? Maybe the post is not available on the newsserver at all, and therefor SAB says "0 MB *downloaded*" or something like that?

With the Newsleecher i download the post without any problem. In the Forum from this posting stands the password.

And have you got the same newsserver(s) defined and active in Newsleecher and SABnzbd?

yes, but i have pause both clients so the usenet provider dont have any effect.
