Start SABnzbd-0.4.0 Beta4 as a service?

I can't get SABnzbd working as a service. I tried different ways to create the service, but everytime I start it, a error pops up: "Could not start SABnzbd service on Local Computer. Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion." In the eventviewer an entry was created with the following text: "Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for the SABnzbd service to connect.".

A short description of things i tried:
- Followed the wiki on http://sabnzbd.wikidot.com/windows-service;
- Searched this forum;
- I tried different user names (domain and local), even members of the domain admins group;
- Applied (NTFS) modify rights to all files en folders of SABnzbd for the special service account i created;
- Tried to create the service with sc create;
- Rebooted the computer (a few times).

Both logs of Cherrypy and SABnzbd don't show any errors. In fact, when the service is starting, i can see the process sabnzbd.exe in the list. When i open the webinterface, SABnzbd is fully running, but for a short time: when the error pops up, (the process) SABnzbd is terminated.
And again no strange error entries.

Got someone a clue, am I doing something wrong?

I give up on trying to solve these problems.
The desribed method on the Wiki works fine on my Windows Server 2003 system,
so I'm out of suggestions now.

You'll have to wait until we have time to build in proper Windows Service support.

You could try to start it as a "scheduled task".

Use a user that doesn't log out. Create a special account that's not used for normal tasks.
Schedule task "when starting the computer".
