File Not Found

I have my sabnzbd setup to automatically convert whatever videos I download to just the .avi/.mkv file. They play just fine on the machine that they were downloaded on. The problem arises when I try to play them from another machine via a shared directory. I get a 'file not found' error and nothing happens. I've tried both VLC and MPC and both give me the same error. Any help would be much appreciated. If you need any more information, I'll provide as much as I can. Thank you.

Check the access rights of the share.

I looked into that, but that's not an issue. Everything else in that folder plays just fine, it's just files created from sabnzbd that have been automatically joined. Before I figured out how to do that, I would just download things normally, then do all of the .par2 and extraction myself. All of those files played just fine, on all of my machines. I've tried to move them from the original machine to another machine, but it tells me that's not allowed because it's not a file.

One question I've wondered is if there's anything stored locally, say in a temp folder or the such, that might allow it to be played on the original machine, but not any others?

Sharing and access rights are hairy subjects, especially Windows ACLs and sharing rights.
Since you don't mention the OS, it's just guessing.
On Windows SABnzbd doesn't bother about access rights, assuming that the base folder has the correct rights
(on Windows new folders inherit rights from their base folder).
Samba makes things more complicated.
On Linux and OSX, you can set permissions in Config->Folders.

Sorry for the lack of OS info there. Both machines are running Windows XP. I've tried it on my Windows 7 machine as well, but that has the same problem. I have a few other options I'd like to try, ie; uploading to my server and copying to a usb drive and trying the sneaker net way. I've never run into this specific of a problem before, so I wasn't sure if it was just the fact that this is a new program for me. Thank you for answering my question, even w/out all of the information that was needed.
