Can somebody please help me....  ???

Newby on Linux, mac user. Not much used to work with cmd/scripts etc

My config:
qnap 439pro II+, sabnzbd+ 0.5.3, python 2.7, qnap firmware 3.3.6. 5 RAID, 5,5T available
MacOSX 10.6.5.

SAB configured with ssl.
SAB creates folders in qnap acording to webfilemanager of qnap: qnap/downloads/sabnzbd/incomplete and  complete and etc.
but map paths standard given in sab were: /share/Qdownload/sabnzbd/incomplete also for the complete and others.
On top of the folder config. page sab gives for the user folders, and system folders: in /root/.sabnzbd

But then on downloading only 0.02 MB space available, and dowloading wo'nt start.

When I changed the map config in SAB to: qnapxxx/download/sabnzd/incomplete etc. Downloading started up fine, 1,2MBIT, unpacking etc went fine.
and right mouse on download file (in SAB history tab) gives:
/root/.sabnzbd/qnapHBRKMG/Download/sabnzbd/complete/128613-altbinEFNet

I tried to create the  root path with the webfilemanager of qnap, but that didnt do the trick, still all the folders stay empty, although downloading works fine. No faul messages eather.

I have the feeling downloading is filling up my disks now, but i cannot find the files.
How do i solve this ?
Is there a trick to find my downloads ?
Is this root path created by sab causing the problem ?
How do i create the right path ?

I assume SABnzbd is running on the QNAP box?

First, be aware that 0.5.6 is the most recent version and that we
can give only limited support for NAS platforms.
We don't create NAS packages ourselves.
Where does the Config->General page say files are stored?

the cong page says: qnapxxx/Download/sabnzbd/incomplete

whereas in top of the page (unchangeble) is mentioned: in "/root/.sabnzbd"

This means that your downloaded files will, temporarily, go to
/root/.sabnzbd/qnapxxx/Download/sabnzbd/incomplete
The end result will go somewhere else, which should also be
visible on the same page.
BTW: you can set your own preference at any time,
by entering a full path. When such a path starts with / then the /root/.sabnzbd part
will be ignored.

The first part is determined by the way SABnzbd is started up.
How do you start it?

I can start it through the interface of the qnap, or through the browser. (i copied the link generated on congiferating) in the browser
