Understanding PAR functionality when downloading manually

Post by djon »

I just had a download with CRC errors. SABNZBD placed it in this folder:

avs720-moviename.nfo\_FAILED_avs720-moviename.nfo

I then manually downloaded a PAR file, which was then placed here:

avs720-moviename.nfo\avs720-moviename.nfo

SABNZBD then couldn't repair the files, because the repair file was in another folder.

How can I make SABNZBD download the PAR files, place them in the correct folder and automatically repair the files?

You cannot. That's what we're working on for the next release.
The only option you have now is to move various files into one folder yourself
and run a tool like QuickPar manually.
