Sophos flagging cache file as Nutcracker virus

I have been using Sabnzbd for about a month and the program is working fine. About a week ago Sophos picked up a virus in the cache folder and quarantined it. I have left it for a week or so and there hasn't been any noticeable affect. Am I OK to delete this file? How about the whole cache folder, is this like the temp folder for windows that needs to be manually cleaned every so often?
Thanks,
Jesse

The file found is a cached article, which was part of a download.
It's safe to remove it.
The cache folder needs some periodic cleaning, due to leakage.
When the queue is empty, it's safe to remove all files starting with SABnzbd_article
The next major release will not have this problem any more.
