[edit] I posted in the wrong section sorry :D [/edit]

1) I have one payed newsreader, and one free of my own provider.  The one I pay for is checked as Active (makes most sense).
When or why want I check more boxes for the paid server

2) When you want to check optional or reserve ? and should this always be optional or reserve?

3) Or just set them both to active...and let SAB decide?

Thanks for your time.

Backup servers are usually the ones you pay per Gigabyte.
If you have a pay-per-month server, you should make it a primary server.
Active/inactive is just for temporarily switching servers on and off.
Some cheap pay servers can be use only outside primetime,
so you can schedule them on and off.
Optional is for unreliable servers that are often offline,
so that they will not block the queue.
