HELP!! problems downloading... localhost and port configs!!

I am fairly new to SABnzbd and dont know how to fix any problems when it comes to the program. I will try and explain this and hopefully someone out there knows what to do and can help. For the record, i have a Mac OS X 10.5.8 and SABnzbd 0.5.4

I have downloaded through Sab many times before and all of a sudden the downloads wont work. When i open it, and resume download, the speed starts at about 300 kb/s or so and then immediately starts to drop until it gets to 0 kb/s.

I have no idea why this started happening, i have not changed any configs or anything and only a week ago it was working perfectly!! Here is what i can tell you about my setup: the url address is localhost:8090 but in my servers tab it is running on localhost port 8080 as well as unlimited.newshosting.com port 119.

i assume that the url should be the same as the port in my servers tab but i tried changing the port in the server tab to 8090 but it solved nothing.

Please help!! Any more information needed??

Aren't you mixing up Usenet servers and SABnzbd's embedded webserver?
There shouldn't be a "localhost" in your Usenet server setup.

And your right!! haha thanks.... i did not know that, i guess thats why it was working sometimes and not other times.

I went to Config and Server tabs and deleted the "local host" server and it works now!!

Thanks again. Like i said, im lost when it comes to this stuff... but downloads are fast!!
