RSS Download Issues

Hi All,

I'm running 0.54 on OSX and I've always downloaded NZB's manually. I've recently looked into getting automatic downloading working using an RSS feed but I'm having issues. I have my feed setup and I have several filters in place, when I click on preview I get items matched but these don't download automatically. I have the RSS checking interval set to 60. I have the priority and category set to default and the processing set to + delete. When I get matched items in the preview screen, I can cllck on download and this works fine but I'd like it to do this automatically as it finds items in the RSS feed.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

The first batch of a new feed is never downloaded to prevent a large backlog from entering your queue.
You can use "Force Download" to download them anyway.
Subsequent new jobs will be downloaded.
You shouldn't use "Preview" all the time, because that can interfere with automatic downloading.
The next major release will have a substantial redesign of the UI to overcome such issues.

Thanks Skypike, I'll stay away from Preview and see how it goes.

Just wanted to say thanks.  I was repeatedly checking the 'preview' which I am guessing is what was causing my problem of nothing actually downloading.

Working fine now.

This will be fixed in 0.6.0.
Not for 0.5.5, because it's quite a lot of work.
