RSS Feed loads okay but doesn't download?

Essential Information:
Version: 0.5.4
OS: Windows 7 x64
Install-type: Windows Installer
Skin: Default
Firewall Software: Windows Firewall, Sonicwall Hardware Firewall
IPV6: No
Reproducible only on this machine.
I have RSS feeds from Newzbin loaded up in sabnzbd and I can't get the application to download new .nzb's.

When I click the 'preview' button, it shows matched nzb's with no asterisk, yet the file has been available for well over 12 hours in the RSS feed. I have RSS checking set to every 15 minutes.
Nothing is showing up in the queue, but if I hit the 'force download' button, everything downloads.

Any idea what I could have messed up here?
Screenshots attached.

The first batch of NZB is enevr downloaded automatically because may RSS feeds
have a large backlog.
You can choose for "Force Download" the matching NZBs.

When you enable the feed (checkbox in upper left corner), it will be periodically
scanned and new matching NZB will be added to the queue.
How long an NZB has been in the feed doesn'y matter.
Only when SABnzb sees new stuff in automatic scans (not previews) it will add them to the queue.

Thanks shypike. It's pretty great to see a developer respond to a problem so quickly.

Right on - that makes perfect sense and I noticed that is also in the FAQ. In the first screenshot, you'll notice only one nzb has an asterisk, that was the file that showed up when I first added the RSS feed so it did not automatically download. The other nzb file, the one with no asterisk, showed up *after* the RSS feed had already been added and enabled and it's *that* nzb that isn't automatically downloading (as well as the other 10 or so RSS feeds I have enabled)

Knowing that, do you think sabnzbd is acting as designed or is this a configuration problem?

It designed to prevent downloads by just looking at the RSS content.
Suppose you have it on automatic and want to check by clicking preview.
When you click preview the feed will be read again.
However none of the matches will qualify for automatic downloading.
The idea is that, because you are checking, the last you want is for the be matches
to be moved to the queue.
You'll need to "Force download" after a preview.
It may be a bit counter-intuitive and requires some insight to the idea behind it.
Doing it the other way (do automatic download with Preview) is also not
what everybody would expect and to my mind not what one would want.

BTW: The RSS feature is being overhauled for release 0.6.0.
One change is that you'll get to see a view of the current situation of the feed.
Clicking "Preview" will refresh the feed and will still behave like before.

Thank you for the clarification. I use the RSS feeds heavily on other machines as well; if you need a beta tester, do let me know.

Thank you.
