Hello everyone,

Well my sabnzbd wont start, after launching it; it disappears after 3secs from windows task manager process list.

Version: SABnzbd-0.5.4-win32-setup
OS: Windows 7 64bit home prem.
Install-type: Windows installer
Skin (if applicable): Yellow/grey one.
Firewall Software: Windows firewall.
Are you using IPV6? no
Is the issue reproducible? huh

Open a command prompt and type:
"c:\program files (x86)\SABnzbd\SABnzbd-console.exe

This should give you some diagnostic info.

How do you start it up? Through the icon on the desktop?
Somehow it thinks its data folder are in the wrong place.

Try starting it  like this:
"c:\program files (x86)\SABnzbd\SABnzbd-console.exe -f c:\usenet

Replace c:\usenet with your own favourite folder path.
If that works, change the shortcur for SABnzbd by adding -f c:\usenet to the properties.

i just uninstalled it and installed it again, seems working again.
when i checked the file version it says 22/8/2010 and i installed it recently (thought i didn't have it installed)
that might caused a problem.

thanks!

edit: is it possible to restore the settings? i have sabnzbd.ini saved.

Yes. Stop SABnzbd overwrite the existing ini file with the saved one.
