Another webUI problem

Version: latest
OS: Windows XP SP3
Install-type: Windows Installer
Firewall Software: Comodo
Are you using IPV6? no
Is the issue reproducible? yes

Hi, I've been using sabnzbd for several weeks without problem.  From memory the initial install was simple and went off without a hitch.  Due to an unrelated problem last night, I had to revert back to a disk image that predated the original sabnzbd install.  This time when I installed the program I ran into problems for some reason.  The actual install seems to work but I can't open the web interface. I keep getting a URL unavailable message for localhost 8080 (then 8085, 8090.....and so on for each attempt).

I'm running Comodo firewall and I Ok'd the pop ups about internet access and 127.0.0.1 (or whatever it is) during install.  To rule out the firewall I actually uninstalled Comodo and tried sabnzbd again.  Same problem.

Given the first install was simple and trouble free, I'm buggered if I can work out what's changed to cause these problems.

Actually something that might be related is that after I loaded the disk image, I tried to access the web UI for my DLink router via the gateway IP 10.1.1.1 and I could not get it to load.  Coincidence perhaps?

Any ideas?

Thanks, Dave

Find the sabnzbd.ini file, see: http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/configure-v2
Find the lines containing "host =" and "port =".
You should probably set host to 0.0.0.0 and port to 8080 (or any other number you fancy).

As a diagnostic, you can run a special variant of SABnzbd.
Open a "command prompt" and type:
"c:\program files\SABnzbd\SABnzbd-console.exe"
This will show you some diagnostic messages.
