change configfile path

does changing the configfile path enable you to use an external hard drive? If so how do you do that? I am using osx
Not as such.
What you probably want is to put your "Complete Download Folder" on the external drive.
You can change that in Config->Folders.
If you want to redirect more storage used by SABnzbd to the external drive,
you can do that by setting full paths (to the external drive) for the other folders.
Be aware that you must mount the drive properly before starting SABnzbd.
